I worked for the county a few years ago. I went to the EEO Director at the time, Robert Morris, with some illegal or at least unethical actions taking place in the Sheriff's Department. Mr. Morris took all of my documentation, shredded it right in front of me and said there is no one in the county who will touch the Sheriff so there was no need to go further with it. So, does this in fact mean the Sheriff's Department is untouchable? The Sheriff at the time, Tom Sawyer, was untouchable. It was perfectly okay for him to be driving a county car while intoxicated and with his girlfriend (he was married at the time too) in the car. It was perfectly okay for him to be driving the county car while intoxicated because the Sheriff's Department covered these actions up. I believe actions such as this are still going on and someone should look into it.

How many times does a complaint have to be filed against a department supervisor regarding the hostile treatment of her employees, the ones she decides no longer "fits" into her office click before the CEO, EEO or anyone else will do anything about it? Apparently it can happen over six times (three over the last seven years) with no sort of reprimand towards this supervisor. She can even send emails out which are slanderous against her employees and still nothing happens to her. I'd like her job, she obviously walks on water.
